Yes, we’ve flipped our Lid.

Did you notice your delicious Gippsland Dairy pot didn’t have a plastic lid on it. Rest assured; it is meant to be that way!
At Gippsland Dairy, we are committed to sustainable packaging. For us, this means playing our part to contribute to the voluntary 2025 National Packaging Targets.
The 2025 Targets are supported by Australian industry and government, to deliver a sustainable approach to packaging. They apply to all packaging that is made, used, and sold in Australia.
To support our commitment to the 2025 Targets, we started by removing the single-use spoons from all 160g Gippsland Dairy pots in 2023.
From early 2024, we began to roll out the next phase of our sustainable packaging roadmap by removing the plastic lids from our 160g Gippsland Dairy pots.
By making these changes, this means that your favorite Gippsland Dairy 160g yogurts now contain 44% Less plastic*, which equates to 95,000 kilograms of plastic we’re removing annually – that’s a lot!

*Compared to previous 160g pot with plastic spoon and lid.
